I’ve never done BJJ before but want to sign up - will I be okay at ARMA?
Yes, this is precisely what our Beginner’s Cohort course is designed for. Every new member who has never tried BJJ before, or is still very new, will take part in 8 weeks of dedicated Beginner’s Cohort classes. You’ll join other newcomers and be guided step-by-step through the basics, giving you a fun, engaging introduction to the sport with our amazing coaches before moving on to Fundamentals or All Levels classes.
Does the membership have a minimum term or is it rolling monthly?
We have BOTH monthly and minimum term membership options available, plus an annual PIF (paid in full) option, meaning you will always be able to find the right membership for your current needs.
Will there be day passes or class packs available?
Yes, there will be both individual Day Passes & 5 x Credit Packs available to purchase on-site.
Do I need to wear a specific ARMA Gi or rashguard? Is there a uniform policy?
We will have a uniform policy at ARMA, but this doesn’t mean you’re required to wear an ARMA-branded Gi. That said, there are a couple of key expectations to follow when training with us:
Any non-ARMA Gi must be either black or white.
Non-ARMA Gis must not have patches from other clubs.

What app or system do we use to book classes and check in?
Classes can either be booked online at www.armabjj.com, or by downloading the ARMA app when you sign up for any membership. We will NOT take bookings over the phone, but members can book in when they arrive at the gym, if there are spaces available.
Can I tour the gym?
Absolutely. Guests can be shown around the facilities and we will answer all questions you have prior to committing to an ARMA membership. We want everyone to feel safe and positive about their commitment to joining ARMA.
Will there be more classes added at a later date?
Yes! We are already starting with 50+ BJJ classes, 15+ Strength & Conditioning & ARMA PT sessions every week for phase 1 of our timetable, and these numbers will continue to grow over time.
What is the freeze/pause policy?
Any member can freeze their membership for a maximum of 3 months in every 12 month minimum term contract. This will extend your minimum term and you must either complete this process in club, with the support of a member of our team, or by emailing a member of our Management Team directly
Do you have guest passes available? Can I bring a friend?
Yes, we have Guest Passes available to purchase at a reduced rate than the standard Day Pass, however, any Guest Passes must be accompanied by a full ARMA member at all times when on site.
What is the class structure like?
All classes, whichever level they are tailored to, are created, audited and adapted by our Head Coaching team on a monthly basis, to ensure you are receiving the best possible coaching during every ARMA training session. Your enjoyment and development are our top priorities, always.
Is the sauna and ice bath included in the membership?
Yes, both sauna and ice baths will be included in either the Full Access BJJ membership, or ARMA PT membership. These facilities will NOT be included for children, or non-members.
